Hi, I’m Catherine, author of this completely selfish and egocentric virtual space!

Seriously, I am still trying to understand what it means to blog — what it means to write without sounding like a complete jackass, while trying to ignore the hammering question “who cares what I think?” It’s fighting this question that my entries barely arrive every two weeks. I’m trying to change that.

I named this blog “on the street where I live” because that’s the place of my daily life. It seems like the best way to umbrella everything else I do and enjoy when not working. Among this list is eating, traveling, being crafty, and generally make my home an even better place – both physically and mentally.
